Hello! I'm Sam Mallon, a visual storyteller currently based in Bar Harbor, Maine, with a BA in photojournalism from Western Kentucky University.

In addition to my studies in visual journalism, I have committed my academic career to gender and women's studies, sociology and folklore. As a result, my visual documentary work reflects an exploration of gender, community and resilience.
