Sam Mallon is an independent documentary filmmaker and photographer based in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area.
She is drawn to stories that center community, particularly at the intersections of food, culture, and the environment. Her visual documentary work reflects an exploration of joy and resilience.
Clients include Education Week, the Washington Post, Getty Images, the Baltimore Banner and more. Previously, Sam was a photographer and videographer for Friends of Acadia/Acadia National Park.
Sam is open to assignments worldwide (and only a few hours away from most major Northeastern cities).
