Sam Mallon is a documentary filmmaker and photographer based in Baltimore, Maryland.
She is particularly drawn to stories that center community, the intersections of food and culture, and environmentalism. Her visual documentary work reflects an exploration of joy and resilience.
Her clients include Education Week, the Washington Post, Getty Images, the Baltimore Banner and more. Before going freelance, Sam was a photographer and videographer for Friends of Acadia/Acadia National Park. She previously interned at the Lexington Herald-News.
Sam is open to assignments worldwide (and only a few hours away from most major Northeastern cities).
